Veterinary Referral and Consent

In line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the Exemptions Order 2015:

  • All animals under current veterinary care must be referred by a veterinary surgeon before treatment.

  • Written veterinary consent where necessary is required prior to the initial appointment.

  • We will not treat any animal without valid consent if necessary.

  • Continued treatment may require regular updates with your vet.

  • I reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsuitable and will refer the animal back to your vet.


4. Appointments and Payment

  • All sessions must be booked in advance.

  • Payment is due on the day of invoice unless previously agreed.

  • We accept cash and bank transfer.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee of 50%.


5. Liability Disclaimer

  • Our services do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.

  • We make no guarantees about specific outcomes.

  • By booking, you accept responsibility for your animal’s response to treatment.

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or injury.


6. Health and Safety

  • Please ensure your animal is clean, manageable, and safe to handle.

  • You must disclose any pre-existing health or behavioural issues.

  • We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it may compromise safety or welfare.
